Street Pastors

Street PastorsStreet Pastors is an inter-denominational Church response to urban problems, engaging with people on the streets to care, listen and dialogue. It was pioneered in London in January 2003 by Rev Les Isaac and has seen some remarkable results, including drops in crime in areas where teams have been working. There are now some 9000 trained volunteers in over 250 teams around the United Kingdom.

Kirkcaldy Street Pastors was formed in February 2010. The minister was on the Management Team from the start and the congregation has been supportive prayerfully and financially. There is a team out in Kirkcaldy town centre most Saturday nights from 10.00pm until 4.00am!
The role of the Street Pastor is listening, caring and helping – showing Christian love in an unconditional way.

To be considered as a Street Pastor you need to be over 18 (no upper age limit) and a church member. You must undergo PVG disclosure.
